1. Instructors receive clear, concise feedback

• We have developed Follow - Up Question Technology:
  Integrated into each course assessment survey question is the ability to ask students, who answer in the bottom range of a question, a follow-up question that refines the context of the answer. When the data from this answer is merged with all of the survey results from every disgruntled student the instructor has taught, patterns will begin to emerge, and instructors can take corrective action. This turns a negative response into constructive criticism and brings out the best in your instructors.
• Comments in Context allows users to filter and identify qualitative responses by survey results in order to gauge the disposition of the respondent.

• Analysis based on demographic information.
  Unlike paper based survey tools, Online Course Evaluations' system confidentially correlates demographic information to the corresponding student survey. Our solution at Online Course Evaluations is to have a school provide the demographic data regarding the student (n.b: We NEVER collect the names of the students under any circumstances). We then integrate that data into the survey results. This reduces the number of questions and creates more accurate information.

2. Team Teaching Surveys

• Team teaching surveys provide one survey to students for courses with multiple instructors. Instructor questions are separated under instructor headings with one set of course content questions for the entire survey. Individual instructor survey results are combined with course results and provide confidentially to each instructor.

3. Get immediate feedback in an easy to understand format.

• When survey results become available, and grades have been posted, Instructors are e-mailed their reports. This allows faculty time to make adjustments in teaching style or course material for the upcoming semester.

4. Instructors can ask their own questions.

• Instructors have the ability to ask questions for an individual course or for all their courses. Best of all, the instructor will be the only person to view the results of these questions.
